About the Chilis
HOW IT BEGAN
Having a child that loves to play hockey is a blessing, and a curse. The cost of gear, registrations for camps, clinics, teams, and travel can be a lot for families.
But it doesn't have to be... Green Bay and the surrounding areas has so many great resources, coaches, teams, and opportunities that just need to be utilized more efficiently! Years ago I noticed my kids and a few of their teammates were lagging behind in their skating ability. I reached out to two coaches with extensive background in coaching and asked to help. Needless to say, they jumped at the opportunity because their own kids could use the focused practices as well.
So last year I found myself between a rock and a hard place; I had too many skaters looking for spring, summer, and fall skating opportunities than what my small group could handle. I reached out to another coach who had experience working with all age levels to see if he could help, and of course he could.
One thing led to another and in the sping/summer/fall of 2024, over 100 kids from 8 different organizations came together to practice and play!

WHERE WE ARE GOING!
Mission Statement
To help all skaters find the opportunity to play hockey all year long!
Vision
The Green Bay Area has the resources, facilities, and coaches necessary to help kids and the sport to grow! The youngest of skaters are looking for opportunities to learn and skate. Teens looking for ways to improve their skills as a player, mentor, and/or as an official. Young adults wanting to give back with coaching, and established coaches wanting to foster the development and love of the game. We can all work together to help everyone!
